While exploring Lumen, you may notice that certain features, actions and buttons have a new home. We've put together a list of Frequently Asked Questions to help orient you as you get the hang of things.
If I switch to Lumen, will all my Classic Library links automatically redirect?
No. The URLs for the Classic Library and for Lumen are different, so any Classic Library links you've distributed or have saved internally will only load in the Classic Library UI. You'll need to get new Lumen links to content in order for those URLs to open in Lumen.
How can I custom sort my galleries and collections?
In a collection or gallery, click the Sort option at the top of the right pane, then select Same as Portal > Edit. Select a file by clicking it, then drag it into your preferred order.
Where do I set cover photos for my galleries and collections?
Within a gallery, select the image you want to use as a cover photo, then click More > Set as cover.
How do I upload in Lumen?

Where can I find the FTP user account screen?
You'll need to switch back to the Classic Library to access and/or manage your FTP user accounts. To do that, click Your Name > Classic Library.
How can I create a new root level collection?
In the Lumen Library, click + in the left pane, then click Create new container.
Is there an easy way to "select all"?
There sure is! Use the Actions buttons above the right pane to select or unselect all.
Can I batch rename files?
Yes! You can batch rename files sequentially in Lumen by selecting two or more files, then clicking Rename in the right pane.
Where are the Advanced Search filters located?
Search for a term in the Search field at the top of the Library. When the results load, you'll see the Advanced Search filters in the left pane. To read more about using Search in Lumen, see our in-depth guide here.
Where is the link to the Portal side of my galleries?
Select a collection, gallery or file and then click Share at the top of the right pane. Use the Copy Link button to copy the Portal link to your clipboard, then paste the link in a new browser tab.
Has the Invited User experience changed?
Nope! The Portal experience has not changed. We'll let you know when to expect new Portal features, so stay tuned!
