To help with wayfinding, we've moved container-level and file-level actions from the center pane to the right pane. You'll see different actions depending on what type of container is selected, i.e. Collection vs. Gallery vs. file. This article covers the various actions you can take.
Getting Started
With a container selected, you'll see the path of the container in the center pane and the Share and Add icons, as well as the More, Sort, Reverse Sort, View and Select icons.
- Share allows Library Staff to share containers with their team using View and Download permissions
- +Add allows Library Staff to add new containers (Collections and Galleries) and upload files to existing galleries
- More is where the container-level actions like Copy Portal Link, Copy to Collection, Move to Collection and Delete options are located. You can also enable/disable Watermarks here.
- The Sort option allows you to sort containers and files alphabetically or by Date Created or Date Modified. You can also custom sort items for better control over what your end-users see in the Portal.
- The View Options icon allows you to change the center pane display to Mortar, Large Grid, Small Grid or List.
- Click Select to select all items in a container. You can unselect files using the X icon that appears when Select is activated.
- In the right pane, you can also rename containers by clicking into the container name.
- Add a collection or gallery description in the right pane. Adding a description helps find containers in Search.
