Lumen Portal - New Portal UI for Invited Users

The Lumen Portal is an optional toggle; you can switch between the new Lumen Portal UI and the Classic Portal at any time. To access the new Lumen Portal UI Settings, go to your Library, then click Settings > Display > PhotoShelter Labs (shown below):
 

Enabling the Lumen Portal

Why are there two settings? The "Enable the Lumen Portal" toggle only affects the "switch to Portal" button in the left-hand admin toolbar. The "Portal links redirect to Lumen instead of Classic" option actually switches your Library to use the new Portal UI links and URLs. This change won't affect previously shared invites—any links to the old Portal UI (classic) will still direct users to that classic portal page.

Enhancing your Lumen Portal
 

After enabling the Lumen Portal setting, you will have a new Portal Settings page (shown below) available at https://library.photoshelter.com/settings/portal. 

Good news! This setting is completely independent from your Classic Portal settings page: https://www.photoshelter.com/mu/site/settings (notice the URL difference). All changes to the New Portal will only apply to the New Portal. You can customize the Lumen Portal to your liking without affecting any previously shared invites. Remember, even with the Lumen Portal ON, your Classic Portal settings will remain unchanged, and your Classic Portal will still be available for users who still have URLs directing them there.

In the new Portal Settings menu, you'll first be taken to the "Branding" tab, shown above. In the Branding tab, you can adjust your:
 

• Portal URL
• Site Name
• Portal color scheme
• Portal logo (text or image)
• Portal landing page (Basic Library View, Search View, or a Custom Landing page).
