Transfer Images from a PhotoShelter for Photographers Account or PhotoShelter for Brands Account to Your PhotoShelter for Brands Library

If a PhotoShelter for Brands Library Administrator or Editor adds you as a Contributor to their organization's PhotoShelter account using the same exact same email address you use to login to your single-user PhotoShelter for Photographers account, you can easily copy images from your PhotoShelter account into their PhotoShelter for Brands Library. 

Copy Your Images to a PhotoShelter for Brands Account

Login to your PhotoShelter account

Click Images to enter the Image Browser and navigate to the Listed or Unlisted tab containing the Gallery of images you would like to copy to an organization's PhotoShelter Library. Alternatively, do an Image Search from the left pane of the Image Browser to copy the images from search results.

Once you have selected images for transfer in the center pane (the image thumbnails will be highlighted in blue), click Actions and Copy to PhotoShelter for Brands.

Note: If you do not see the Copy function, it is possible the Administrator/Editor has not added you as a Contributor using the exact same email address you use to login to your PhotoShelter account with. You should reach back out to them for clarification.

You'll next be asked to select the PhotoShelter for Brands account you would like to copy your images into. 

Add a brief Gallery name so that the PhotoShelter for Brands Library Staff receiving your images have an idea of what the Gallery you are copying to them is. The Gallery name field is also the way the system does (or does not) differentiate multiple copied Galleries by the same user on the same day.

• If the same user on the same day uses different Gallery names each time they copy separate Galleries to a PhotoShelter for Brands account, each Gallery will be copied over into the PhotoShelter for Brands Library as a new, independent Gallery.
• If the same user on the same day uses no Gallery name (or the same exact Gallery name) each time they copy separate Galleries to a PhotoShelter for Brands account, the contents of each Gallery will be merged together into one new Gallery in the PhotoShelter for Brands Library.

To reduce any confusion in the recipient's Library, we recommend adding a Gallery name.

Check the box to ensure you are designated as the Contributor (the photographer) of these images.

Click Send.

The images will immediately be copied into the receiving organization's PhotoShelter for Brands account. By default, you will not be able to see where these images land in their PhotoShelter Library.
