PhotoShelter for Brands (PSB) now lets Library Admins manage UGC users — and, for new joint Socialie customers, Socialie users — right from your PSB Library, using one set of login credentials across products.
Note: Only Library Admins can access Library Users and grant UGC or Socialie access.

Heads up - If you were already a joint PSB + Socialie customer before this release, this update doesn't apply to your account. You'll still log into Socialie separately, and your Socialie users are still managed the same way they always have been.
What's new in Library User Management
- Go to Users > Library Users in Lumen.
- You'll see your users broken out by role — Admin, Editor, Tagger, and Contributor — with a running count against your total available seats (for example, "4/5 Contributors").
- Select a user to view their details, or select Add User / Edit to change their access.
If your account doesn't include UGC or Socialie
You'll see a Get Started prompt. Selecting it walks you through adding UGC or Socialie to your plan.
If your account includes UGC, or is a new Socialie customer
The same Add/Edit screen also lets you grant that user a UGC role and/or a Socialie role, directly alongside their PSB role — no separate login or separate admin tool needed.
How seats work now
Access to UGC or Socialie now runs on your existing paid PSB seats — there's no longer a separate UGC or Socialie seat to buy.
- Any paid PSB seat (Admin, Editor, Tagger, or Contributor) can be granted a UGC or Socialie role.
- If you want someone to have only UGC or Socialie access (no Editor/Tagger permissions in your Library), they can be added as a Contributor — but that still uses one of your Editor seats. If this applies, you'll see a message in the UI letting you know, and the Editor seat count at the top of the page will update accordingly.
