With PhotoShelter's CI HUB integration, you can use content in your PhotoShelter Library within your favorite apps like Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace, as well as SharePoint, Figma, or Sketch.
The CI HUB integration is a two-way integration, meaning you can both search for assets from within your Library and use them in the supported applications below, and you can upload assets back to PhotoShelter and create versions.
The CI HUB integration can be used with the following applications:
- Microsoft 365 (Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Adobe Express
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Figma
- Sketch
- Sharepoint

Contact the Customer Success team to add the CI HUB integration to your PhotoShelter for Brands account.
Setup
- Head to your applications App Marketplace and search for CI HUB. When you locate the integration, click Install.
- In the CI HUB panel, click Login. To log in, use the same credentials you use to access your PhotoShelter Library.
- When prompted, enter your PhotoShelter Portal URL and API key.
- After logging in, the CI HUB panel should be available in your application. In some apps, you may need to enable the panel by clicking Extensions > CI HUB.
Using the CI HUB Connector
Placing Files
- Open the CI HUB panel in your application and locate a file
- Left click on the file and select Place. You can also drag-and-drop files to place them in your project document.
Note: Please see the list of supported applications below and their respective file size limitations.
Add Files to your PhotoShelter Library
- In the CI HUB panel, click Add File
- Select the radio button next to "active document" and select a filetype from the options in the drop-down menu. The filetype you select here will be uploaded to your Library.
- Click OK
Supported Applications & Limitations
Microsoft 365 (Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
This connector enhances your team’s productivity by allowing your Administrators and Editors to easily browse and search for images or documents located in your PhotoShelter Library and use those assets in any of the Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint). You can also save your completed files back to PhotoShelter.
Adobe Express
This connector allows your Administrators and Editors to easily browse and search for image and video assets located in your PhotoShelter Library and use them in creative projects. You can also save your completed projects back to PhotoShelter.

Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
This connector allows your Administrators and Editors to easily browse and search for files located in your PhotoShelter Library and use those assets in Google Docs, Sheets, and/or Slides. You can also save any completed projects back to PhotoShelter.
Limitations: Google Workspaces has file size limitation of 8 MB. When possible, we suggest using a resized JPG less than 8 MB.

Figma
This connector allows your Administrators and Editors to easily browse and search for assets located in your PhotoShelter Library and use them in Figma files.You can also save your completed Figma projects back to PhotoShelter.
Limitations: Figma has a file size limit of 4086px. When possible, please use resized JPGs that meet this requirement.

Sketch
This connector allows your Administrators and Editors to easily browse and search for assets located in your PhotoShelter Library and use those assets in Sketch. In addition, you can save your completed Sketch projects back to PhotoShelter.
