** (PhotoShelter for Brands was known as “Libris by PhotoShelter” until June 2020 - Branding on plugins will update soon.) **
Note: If you are upgrading a previous plugin version, do not uninstall (delete) your existing plug-in. To update, simply replace your existing plugin file (i.e. Libris.lrplugin) with the new file. Follow the instructions as listed under "Upgrading to the Latest Version".
1. Download the plug-in here.
2. Unzip the plug-in file. This will reveal the uncompressed plug-in to import.
3. Move the Libris.lrplugin file to your preferred storage location.
4. Launch Lightroom, and select File > Plug-in Manager.
5. In the new window, the left pane will reveal all plug-ins currently installed on your Adobe Lightroom application. The green icons next to the list indicate whether the application is currently installed and running. If you do not see the plug-in here, click on the Add button.
6. In the new window, locate the plug-in in the folder in which you opted to store it.
7. Select the plug-in (Libris.lrplugin), and click on the Add Plug-in button at the bottom right corner of the window.
If the plug-in was installed properly, the Installed and Running status will appear next to the plug-in name.

Next Step: Export your image files
Upload using Lightroom Classic's Export feature
Do you have or will you ever have more than one person who will be uploading image files into your team's PhotoShelter for Brands account? Will there be one or more Editors who will have access to move Collections and Galleries in the Library and edit image metadata? Do you have a PhotoShelter AI integration enabled? If the answer is "yes" to any one of these questions, you should always use the Export function in Lightroom to upload images from your Lightroom catalog into PhotoShelter for Brands. This is a one-way upload and there is no sync between the file in your (or anyone else's Lightroom catalog) and your team's PhotoShelter account.
We generally discourage using the Publish function in Lightroom with PhotoShelter for Brands. If you opt to publish, it means you are committing to only ever using your Lightroom catalog to upload, that you will not use any other upload methods outside of this, you won't have any Contributors uploading their files to your PhotoShelter for Brands Library, and this will be the only way you manage the creation of Collections and Galleries and apply IPTC metadata to image files in the organization's PhotoShelter for Brands account from the first day you publish, forward.
Upgrading to the Latest Version
Before upgrading your Lightroom Plugin, please make sure you have a backup of your Lightroom catalog saved in a safe location.
If you are a single Admin managing a PhotoShelter for Brands account with Publishing, do not delete your existing plug-in file. If you do, you will have to rebuild your published galleries from scratch.
To upgrade the plug-in to the latest version, simply replace your existing file (i.e. Libris.lrplugin) with the new file.
For Mac: Download the plug-in here.
For PC: Download the plug-in here.
1. Find the location of your current plug-in file by opening the Lightroom plug-in Manager and clicking Libris.
File > plug-in Manager > Libris> Status > Path
