UGC may be collected through:
- Direct upload forms
- Contributor submission links
- Campaign-based submission workflows
Submission methods are defined by the organization.
What Happens at Submission
When content is submitted:
- Media files are uploaded
- Submission metadata is captured
- Content enters the UGC review queue
Submissions are not visible for use at this stage.
Submission Requirements
Submission requirements may include:
- Accepted file types
- Required metadata
- Contributor acknowledgments
Incomplete submissions may require follow-up before review.
Initial Submission State
All submissions begin in a pending review state.
They cannot be:
- Distributed
- Published
- Used downstream
