PhotoShelter Analytics is an in-product dashboard that gives Library staff access to important metrics about their PhotoShelter account.
You can find the Analytics dashboard by navigating to Admin > Reports > Analytics.
The Analytics Dashboard
Your analytics dashboard contains six data visualizations:
- Daily Uploads
- Most Popular Images Downloaded
- Daily Downloads
- Top 5 Search Terms
- Search Activity
- Downloads by File Type
All data visualizations refer to activity on the Library, Portal and Workspaces unless otherwise noted. Data is available on rolling year basis beginning January 2022. If you require data beyond January 2022, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Data Visualizations Explained
Daily Uploads
- A line chart that shows daily uploads to your account (Library, Portal, and Workspaces combined) for the specified time period.
- Click on or hover over a specific point to see the corresponding number of uploads for that day.
- The default defined time period for the chart is Rolling Month. You can change the time period by clicking on the Rolling Month > Select Dates and selecting your preferred date range.
Note: The calendar will only allow selection from the past rolling year. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you require data beyond January 2022.
Most Popular Images Downloaded
- This chart provides a ranked list of the 3 most popular downloads from your account (Library, Portal, and Workspaces combined) for the specified time period.
- The list shows the rank, the image thumbnail, # of downloads, image ID, and the file name.
- The list will paginate as needed.
- You can specify time periods of 30, 90, or 365 days.
- Clicking on an image thumbnail will open a larger preview of the image.
- This list will display ALL images within the Top 3.
- Click on the “Download csv” button to download a CSV file of the Top 100 most popular images downloaded from your account for the time period specified for the chart.
Daily Downloads
- A line chart that shows daily downloads from your account (Library, Portal, and Workspaces combined) for the specified time period.
- Click on or hover over a specific point to see the corresponding number of downloads for that day.

Top 5 Search Terms

A ranked list of the top 5 terms searched for in your account (Library, Portal, and Workspaces combined)
- The list will display a maximum of 5 terms, regardless of whether there are other terms with the same number of searches as those on the list.
- You can specify time periods of 30, 90, or 365 days.
Search Activity
- A line chart that provides a count of searches performed by all users across your account (Library, Portal, and Workspaces) for the specified time period.
- Click on or hover over a specific point to see the corresponding number of searches for that day.
- The default defined time period for the chart is Rolling Month. You can change the time period by clicking on Rolling Month > Select Dates and selecting your preferred date range.

Downloads by File type
- A donut chart that displays the breakdown of image and video files downloaded from your account (Library, Portal, and Workspaces).
- The legend shows the percentage of each image and video files.
- Clicking on a part of the donut chart will highlight either image or video.
- The default defined time period for the chart is Rolling Month. You can change the time period by clicking on Rolling Month > Select Dates and selecting your preferred date range.

FAQ
I'm not able to see my Analytics page. Am I doing something wrong?
It's possible your organization's IT department may need to allow our vendor's allowed range of IPs. These IPs change daily and can be found here.
