Activate your Contributor Account
If you are designated as a Contributor by an Administrator or an Editor on a PhotoShelter for Brands account, you will receive an email inviting you to activate your account. Depending on whether or not you've had prior experience with PhotoShelter (Brands of Photographer), this email may look slightly different:
1. If it's your first time interacting with PhotoShelter:
You will have to create a new account and set a password. This password in combination with your email will be your single login for all PhotoShelter accounts you have access to, both now and the future.
Once you click "Accept Invitation," you'll be taken to the organization's Public Portal, where you'll set your password.
After your account is first activated, you can go to the Contributor web uploader, or learn more about your role as a Contributor.
In the future, you'll need to log into your Contributor account on the organization's Portal, so look at the URL in your browser's address bar and make a note of it (bookmark it).
2. If you have previously set a password (for example, if you were previously invited to contribute to a different PhotoShelter for Brands account, or you already have a PhotoShelter account)
You will be reminded that your email address is already registered, but you'll still need to activate your role as a Contributor with this specific organization.
Once you click "Accept Invitation," you'll be taken to the organization's Public Portal, where you'll be prompted to log in with your email address and password.
After your account is first activated, you can go to the Contributor web uploader, or learn more about your role as a Contributor.
